Not Vegan: The Gelatin Question
Gummy supplements need something to hold their shape and chew, and the overwhelming majority — JellyRock included, based on our review of the product images and packaging — use gelatin, an animal-derived protein typically sourced from cattle or pork collagen.
Why this often goes unmentioned
Most gummy-supplement marketing pages focus on flavor and active ingredients, not the base itself. Unless you're specifically looking for "vegan," "vegetarian" or "plant-based gelatin" language — and not finding it — it's easy to assume a gummy is fine for a vegetarian diet by default. It usually isn't.
What to check
If this matters to you, look for a pectin-based (fruit-derived) gummy alternative instead, and check the ingredient list on your physical bottle to confirm — packaging and formulas can change.
Our takeaway
This isn't a criticism of JellyRock specifically — it's standard for the category. But it's exactly the kind of detail we think belongs on a page before checkout, not discovered after the order arrives.
